Cefalù

My husband and I planned a very last minute 4 night getaway to Club Med Cefalu at the end of June. We have both been going to Club Med since we were children and Cefalu is by far the nicest club we have visited. All of the GOs were extremely friendly and helpful and it is clear that they are a happy, cohesive team. Lea (from reception) absolutely stood out from the group, she was incredible. I got sick on our second day there and she had a doctor in our room within the hour. That absolutely saved the rest of our trip! We also had an issue with the air conditioning in our room late at night and she was able to get us into another room close by to at least sleep comfortably until the issue was fixed the next morning. THANK YOU LEA!! The only thing that would have made our stay feel more welcoming is if the CDV (Andrea) had introduced himself to us during our stay. This was my first CM trip where I did not meet the CDV. However, we only noticed this was odd because we are Club Med veterans. Club Med Cefalu is incredible, and we will return!

The professional dancer were absolutely incredible, the little shows in the middle of the day or the shows to animate the evenings were incredible. And the team is amazing, Daniel, Carla, Gaëtan, Micka et Celia are the best!!

I recently spent a week at Club Med Cefalù and overall, I had a truly enjoyable experience. The water sports and classes were excellent, and my room offered a stunning view of the sea. The staff were consistently polite and attentive, the food was of good quality, and the grounds of the resort were beautifully maintained—truly a picturesque and relaxing setting.

However, I did encounter a disappointing aspect during the first three days of my stay. A conference group of approximately 150 young people, predominantly men, was also present at the resort. Their presence significantly altered the atmosphere, particularly around the swimming pool area, which they often took over. They were loud, smoked openly, and frequently jumped into the pool in a disruptive manner. It was not the tranquil, exclusive experience I had expected.

As Club Med Cefalù positions itself as a premium resort, I was surprised by the lack of balance between leisure guests and large group events of this nature. While I would love to return in the future, I would appreciate reassurance that such large, boisterous conferences are not a regular occurrence. Maintaining the serene and refined ambiance is, I believe, one of the key appeals of this beautiful destination.

This was our 7th time at this club. Tennis Karine and Yoga Eva are superb teachers. The food at dinner time in the main restaurant is always luke warm.
