We spent two wonderful evenings at Esrancia Restaurant and were truly blessed to be served by Alberto. Such a gentleman — always attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring about what we wanted and needed. This is exactly the kind of waiter who deserves to be applauded and recognized. Thank you, Alberto, for making our experience so special!

Lovely dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. Our waitress Cristina was on spot with her recommendations and so sweet in conversation. The experience of our desserts were spectacular.

The chef du village and GOs were great, service, especially at the bar was pretty average and a bit grumpy by the staff. The shows could be a bit more varied and the food was not as great as other club med places.

This was our first stay at a Club Med resort and I now understand the hype around this chain. A foreword for anyone who hasn’t been in this type of resort before: the Cancun location is one of the older resorts so the physical rooms show a bit of wear and tear but you’re really not coming here for the room. You can absolutely just do nothing at the beach all the day but you’ll be missing out on the true perk of Club Med: it’s a summer/vacation camp, for adults. (And for kids but we travelled as a group of adults so I won’t comment on the kids activities.) Come with this mindset and you’ll have an incredible vacation.

What do I mean by that? Yes there are sun beds and multiple (yes multiple) gorgeous beaches to chose from, but the schedule is packed with amazing activities. Fitness classes, yoga classes, sailing lessons, snorkeling, dance lessons, cooking classes, kayaking, and so much more all included with the price of the stay. Don’t be surprised, the G.O. are not typical employees - you really have to think of them as adult camp counsellors because they really put their heart and soul into making the stay fun. They’ll join you for dinner and you’ll get to hear all the amazing stories of Club Meds around the world and they’ll rehearse long and hard for the shows they put up for us in the evening - this is without counting all their day time duties from running classes to ensuring customer relations. We loved the stay - we did so many activities that we felt MORE fit after our time here than before.

The food is also of much higher quality than other hotels on the strip.

We wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

Thanks to Aketsali and Olga who welcomed us to the resort and dined with us often. They gave us newcomers an awesome run down of the G.O. roles and the GO+GM culture of Club Med. Ask them about their travel and work experiences - you’ll be blow away at their professional qualifications and how many languages they speak.
Special thanks as well to Maf who worked hard behind the scenes to make our stay run smoothely and fixed any tiny issue we had! And she introduced us to so many other fun and talented G.O.s at the evening events it was like having your own party planner!
Dilan at the boutique is HILARIOUS, extremely helpful and ultra efficient. Don’t blink when you watch him work because you’ll miss all the things he does.
Max and William at the nautical sports center were some of our favourite people - so kind and helpful and always down to take you for a sailing adventure.
Julio and Jorge at the Pickleball court are AWESOME teachers and bring such great energy to the parties.
Magalie and Nelson at the fitness center always crush it - we sweat so much with their classes and definitely felt sore the next day. That’s a sign of a great vacation.
Monica the nurse is always ready to save lives and also finds time to hype up the party at Crazy signs! And Marifer is in charge of kids club is also crushing it making sure the kids are happy and most importantly entertained and out of the way for us adults ;)
Tomas and Jean-Philippe are the bar are KILLING it, please keep it up!

The food was outstanding for the entire week. The highlight was the dinner service at Taco Arte. Great food and the best views in the resort.
Although the resort is older, the staff takes pride in maintaining it. Also, it has the best location and beach in the Cancun hotel zone.
