• Check-in, check-out, luggage assistance
  From the moment we exited the airport there were people waiting for us and instructed us where to board the bus. The bus ride took 45 minutes from the airport to Club Med. After we arrived they gave us our bracelets, which served as our room key, and could be used for services and merchandise that are not included in the package. Everything can be charged to your room, and you pay before leaving the resort on the last day. Our room was at the far end of the resort: walking from reception to our room took 5-10 minutes. Our luggage was already sent to our room when we arrived. On the morning of departure we left our luggage at the door and they picked it up for us.

Hotel grounds

• Pool: There is a regular pool and a kiddie pool, but the regular pool is full of kids anyway so it’s not really possible to swim laps. With the beach nearby it didn’t really matter. Aqua aerobics was fun.
• Gym: didn’t use but there were some equipment, weights, treadmills, spinning machines, also yoga and cardio classes took place here. Also there are courts to play basketball, tennis, ping pong, archery, trapeze…
• Restaurant: We loved the food here. Great variety, we ate here three times a day but there were rarely any repeated dishes. Even the desserts were different each day and oh, the desserts were fantastic! Big shoutout to Chef Meli, he took such good care of us and always gave us a warm welcome 💙 Also we loved the bar, which offered all sorts of drinks, alcoholic, nonalcoholic, custom-made, and snacks and ice cream too. Ferry was my favorite bartender, he was always attentive and hilarious 😘

Room

• Cleanliness: clean but sometimes there were bugs that probably got inside from the balcony, but that’s understandable because we’re surround by nature and right next to the beach. Our room was on the ground floor so we could walk directly to the beach from the balcony.
• Space: spacious enough
• Housekeeping: simple housekeeping daily that made our bed and emptied the waste
• Wifi: free WiFi but reception was not really good

Area

• Safety: yes of course totally safe
• Transportation: We asked reception to get us a taxi so we could go to the town center to buy souvenirs. Club Med Kabira is pretty secluded, so the taxi ride took half an hour and cost 5000 yen one-way.
• Places to eat or shop: there is a boutique shop on site, which offers swimwear, snorkels, water toys, clothing, snacks, sunscreen and other things.

My family and I had a great time at Club Med Kabira Beach.
We really appreciated the kindness and professionalism of all the staff, especially the sports staff and Rey Copper and Alfredo, we can tell that you love what you do with a smile on your face. Our thanks goes to them.

We had a very precious summer holiday at Club Med Ishigaki. We were truly grateful for the great hospitality of G.O team and the beautiful environment (beach was beautiful and the view from the room was stunning) around the hotel.
The room was ok, not really fancy and a bit humid as others commenting in their reviews.
Our 4 year old daughter loved Mimi club and she made many friends there. The Mini club G.O team (especially Andrea was one of her favorites) was amazing and made her happy every day with lots of activities.
While my kid was at the Mini club, I enjoyed morning Yoga, then tennis lesson. The tennis G.O Kei was awesome. He gave me good tips to improve my skills.
We also enjoyed aqua gym session by Ayano. It was very enjoyable.
Food was good as my husband and daughter are both very picky eaters and they could always eat their comfort foods while I tried chefs specialities and Okinawa food.

Our stay was truly unforgettable, and I want to express my gratitude to the wonderful team who made it so special.

First of all, a huge thank you to Juli-san, my yoga teacher. I took two private lessons with her, and I’m so grateful for the incredible knowledge she shared. Juli-san has such deep expertise in yoga — she opened up a whole new universe for me, even though I am not a beginner.

Another big thank you goes to Kei-san, the tennis instructor. He is an incredible teacher — so skilled, patient, and inspiring. My husband took two private lessons with him, and we also joined group sessions. And the most amazing part? Kei-san even managed to introduce the basics of tennis to our 3-year-old daughter!

Next, I want to thank Jake-san, Andrea-san, Sisi-san, and Runa-san, the amazing kids club staff who took care of my daughter. It was her very first experience in something like a kindergarten, and I was nervous at the beginning. But they were so kind and supportive, always reassuring me with photos and videos, saying: “Enjoy your vacation, your daughter is fine!” They even managed to teach my daughter to eat broccoli — a true success! And most importantly, they gave her the confidence to go on stage for the very first time. She was so happy, jumping like a little bunny, and it made my heart melt. Thank you, Jake-san, Sisi-san, Runa-san, Andrea-san (and apologies if I forgot anyone’s name) — you are truly incredible.

I also want to mention Nana-san and the trapeze team. They helped me overcome my fear and even complete a trick on the trapeze. It was such a thrilling and empowering experience, and I couldn’t have done it without their support.

A special mention to Hasan-san, the bartender — an absolute master of his craft! The way he mixes cocktails is pure talent, and even his latte was the best I’ve ever tasted.

And finally, thank you to Selim-san, the chef. Oh, the food… it was simply outstanding! Every meal was fresh, diverse, and delicious. The restaurant was so good that we never even thought of going anywhere else.
And of course thank you Jesus-san for supporting us in tennis.

We came home with not just rest, but priceless memories.
