Punta Cana Dominican Republic

Always a great vacation in Club Med Punta Cana. We had fun from the moment we stepped foot on the resort until the moment we left. The whole GO team was there to make our vacation memorable. I’d like to highlight the great leadership from Luca throughout our stay, who was very attentive, professional, and friendly. The Land Sports team is very well run, thanks to a great manager (Miguel) and a driven GO team (shoutout Freilyn). We were staying at the Zen Oasis, and Sara would promptly address any request, which contributed to making our stay as good as we could have imagined. Finally, shoutout to the animation team (especially Mileydis) for nonstop energy and dancing throughout the holidays. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Great location and the best kid’s club- my son loved all the sports, theatre and trapeze attractions. Especially Ms. Fabiola and Mr. Peterson from the Kids Club at Punta Cana Club Med. I enloyed the beach, the pilates and dance class. Tennis courts need a serious refresh however

If you are traveling with kids between 2 - 20 you will likely love this place. We had a fantastic time, but met some who did not so figured it may be helpful to give other travelers a guide of who is likely to love/hate this place. If you are traveling with kids of any age they will love it. We had three teens and booked two rooms, one for the kids and a separate room for the parents at the adults only pool. Great option.

People who will love this place: Families with kids; people who really appreciate lots of fun sports and activities; people who need the rooms to be comfortable, but not overly fancy; people who appreciate the night time singing and shows.

People who are probably not a good fit for this resort: If you need your room to be absolutely perfect and instagram fancy you would probably be happier at Casa del Campo. If you are adults traveling alone and don't like being around a lot of kids then look somewhere else. If you are a going to be super annoyed by minor inconveniences like an elevator that is out or refilling your own water at the buffet, then probably not for you.

We loved this place and will definitely be back. Lots of fun activities for teens both during the day (volleyball tourneys, sailing lessons, etc) and a teen night club at night. The teens will meet lots of other kids and have a blast, but getting them home by curfew could be challenging.

They gym is old and small, but good enough for a week or two. Saw some other reviews talking about running circles inside the resort. This is most definitely not necessary. Go out of resort and turn left there is a beautiful running trail that goes for miles and it is very safe with lots of other tourists in golf carts and although you are outside the Club Med you are still within the larger Club Punta Cana gated resort and it is very safe, no need to run circles inside the club med. We rented a car and left the resort numerous times and had zero issues. There is an awesome grocery store Naccional about 5 mins away next door to the Starbucks and the Blue Mall.

Overall, we highly recommend and will be back. We thought the employees were very sweet and helpful and their kindness and enthusiasm definitely added to our enjoyment of the vacation. All the employees we interacted with were great!
